Dr. Bhatt is an active clinical cardiologist, clinical investigator, and educator. She graduated from Harvard University, obtained her doctoral degree from Yale School of Medicine and then trained at BWH, Children's Hospital of Boston and Mass General in internal medicine, pediatrics, cardiology, and adult congenital heart disease (ACHD). She has developed a robust multidisciplinary curriculum at Mass General to provide requisite ACHD education to cardiovascular fellows from Mass General, Lahey Clinic, St. Elizabeth's Hospital and St. Vincent's Hospital. Dr. Bhatt is dedicated to patient advocacy groups including the AHA and Adult Congenital Heart Association and empowering individuals with CHD to lead full and productive lives.

She works in conjunction with heart failure, transplant, arrhythmia and valve programs, OB/Gyn, Genetics, and Pediatrics. With the Healthcare Transformation Lab, Dr. Bhatt offers TeleVisits to care for individuals with ACHD who live far from Boston or are limited in their ability to make in-person visits. At the Mass General ACHD Health and Wellness program in Waltham, patients receive education about CHD and atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease primary prevention education.

Dr. Bhatt directs the Mass General ACHD Multidisciplinary meeting, a weekly case-based patient review and education session which is CME accredited. The group is happy to provide one time consultations or collaborative care for local, US and international patients and physicians, in person and virtually.
