3rd International Symposium : "Innovations in Oncology" is organized by National Center for Tumor Diseases (NCT), German Cancer Research Center - Deutsches Krebsforschungszentrum (DKTZ) & University Hospital Heidelberg and would be held during Jun 26 - 27, 2017 at German Cancer Research Center, Heidelberg, Baden-Wurttemberg, Germany.
Hosted by the National Center for Tumor Diseases (NCT) Heidelberg, the German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ), the Heidelberg University Hospital , the Felix Burda Foundation, the German Network against Colorectal Cancer and in cooperation with the German Cancer Society (DKG) the 3rd International Symposium: “Innovations in Oncology” will bring together scientists and physicians from academics to industry and foster interdisciplinary communication and collaboration.
This year´s workshop aims at developing a Roadmap to Eliminate Colon Cancer through moderated and interactive panel discussions along a comprehensive range of scientific sessions. From discussing the impact of lifestyle and food, gut microbiota, new models of risk prediction, early detection and prognosis, to innovative approaches in therapy, this symposium will be the first to discuss latest findings in all relevant areas of a colon cancer patient’s career and to transfer innovative scientific advances into a practical guideline, called “the Heidelberg Roadmap”.
