Alfred Lardizabal received his medical training at the University of Santo Tomas in the Philippines and completed a residency in Internal Medicine at UMDNJ-New Jersey Medical School, where he went on to complete fellowship training in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine. He is currently the Associate Director of the Global Tuberculosis Institute. Dr. Lardizabal’s clinical interests include early diagnosis of tuberculosis and pneumocystis pneumonia, and short course chemotherapy for Latent TB Infection (LTBI).
