Dr. Tan completed a Bachelor of Science degree in molecular biology from Benedictine University in Lisle, Illinois. He then spent two years in clinical and basic science research at The University of Chicago Hospitals in Chicago, Illinois, investigating intracellular signal transduction pathways. He then earned a Doctor of Medicine degree from Saint Georges University School of Medicine in St. Georges, Grenada. He completed a residency and fellowship at the Saint Louis University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri.
As Clinical Research Medical Director at Cancer Treatment Centers of America(CTCA) in Goodyear, Arizona, Dr. Alan Tan works with patients to design a treatment plan to fit their specific needs and goals. Dr. Tan joined CTCA Phoenix in December of 2016. He is experienced in delivering targeted, individualized cancer treatment using the latest advances in cancer care.
