Dr. Agustin A. Andrade is the Founder and Director of the Thyroid, Parathyroid, and Pituitary Center for Miami. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Endocrinology and Metabolism. Board Certified Endocrinologist. Has performed over 30,000 neck and thyroid ultrasounds and thousands of Fine Needle Aspiration biopsies of neck and Thyroid, ultrasound-guided Fine Needle Aspirations of the Parathyroid (FNA) Needle Wash-out for Parathyroid Assay, hundreds of Alcohol Injections for Thyroid Cysts, Ethanol Percutaneous Injection for local recurrent Thyroid Cancer, Ethanol Ablation for Thyroglossal Duct Cysts, as well as, Radio Frequency Ablation of the Thyroid (RFA). Dr. Andrade has pioneered the Radio Frequency Ablation (RFA) of the Thyroid in the Southern United States at the Thyroid, Parathyroid, and Pituitary Center for Miami. A new procedure approved by the FDA in March 2018.
