Course Description:
The session welcomes you to the 4th Miami Thyroid Oncology Symposium to discuss the science and art of care of patients with thyroid nodules and cancer. The Miami Thyroid Oncology meeting gives a platform for in-depth reviews on the science of thyroid cancer diagnosis and treatment in this fastly evolving paradigm. It is a unique scientific discussion where practicing physicians determine how to adapt and incorporate the new treatment tools and techniques into their daily practice.

The symposium is a two-day program. The first-day course Thyroid Nodules & Cancer: Cutting Edge Ultrasound And Molecular Diagnostics, aims to provide a foundation for practicing physicians in understanding the evolving role of clinical molecular testing and its integration with the contemporary ultrasound imaging for diagnosis and management of thyroid nodules and cancer. The plenary session entitled Frontiers in Thyroid Oncology, on the second day of the symposium, will review the clinical guidelines, address the controversies and bring new insight to the molecular and genomic theranostics in a didactic and interactive format. There will also be a Scientific Paper Presentations/Case Discussion session and a Multidisciplinary Tumor Board session, endured by the experts in the field. On the second day of the symposium will offer a platform for physicians in training and all academic and practicing physicians to and discuss their research work and clinical experience.

It is indebted to the world prominent faculty to take part in this exciting scientific symposium. The session will fulfill the commitment to furthering the science of thyroid cancer towards the new frontiers.
