Admir Hadzic MD, PhD

Dr. Admir Hadzic is a Founder and  Medical Director of the New York School of Regional Anesthesia. Dr. Admir Hadzic has been at the forefront of academic anesthesiology for 2 decades. His research substantially contributed to the understanding of functional anatomy, the benefits of regional anesthesia, and monitoring principles to improve the safety and efficacy of anesthesiology. He is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Anesthesiology (Columbia University, NY, USA), holds a doctorate degree (Ph.D.) in anatomy, and has been awarded honorary professorships by Karol Marcinkowski, Poznan, Poland, and the University of Ljubljana, Slovenia. He currently holds an active visiting professor appointment at the Catholic University of Leuven (KUL), Belgium. KUL is one of the largest, oldest (1425), and most prestigious universities in Europe; voted the most innovative university in Europe in 2017.

Dr. Hadzic has published over 200 peer-reviewed articles and 2 best-selling professional anesthesiology textbooks with several editions, which have been translated into foreign languages as standard educational curricula in schools and universities worldwide. He has lectured at most prestigious universities and scientific meetings, world congresses, professional medical societies worldwide, NASDAQ stock exchange, and has been a lecturer at the prestigious refresher course at the American Society of Anesthesiologists Annual meetings for 15 consecutive years.

Dr. Hadzic has founded several intellectual property companies and managed their business from start-up to licensing and acquisition.
