Abul K. Abbas MBBS

Abul K. Abbas, MBBS, is a professor and the Chair of the Department of Pathology at the University of California San Francisco, where he moved after having spent 22 years at Harvard Medical School and Brigham and Women’s Hospital. He received his MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery) degree from the All-India Institute of Medical Science in New Delhi, completed his residency training in pathology at the Peter Bent Brigham Hospital (now Brigham and Women’s Hospital) in Boston, MA, and later became a research fellow in the Department of Pathology at Harvard Medical School.
