USF Health’s Office of Continuing Professional Development (OCPD)

USF Health’s Office of Continuing Professional Development is a not-for-profit, academic provider of continuing education for healthcare professionals. The OCPD provides accreditation, education, and conference management services to meet the needs of clients regionally, nationally, and internationally.

Mission:
The mission of the OCPD is to advance the competence and performance of healthcare professionals through the creation of a scholarly environment that fosters excellence in the lifelong goals of education, research and patient care. As an academic center of excellence, emphasis is placed on collaboration with the QI divisions of USF Health and the affiliate hospitals to provide activities that focus on patient care improvement.

The OCPD has been designing and implementing educational activities for over two decades. These activities run the gamut from a small dinner meetings to complex multi-day conferences to skills-based hands-on courses to enduring materials.
