The Society of Infectious Diseases Pharmacists (SIDP) is an association of health professionals dedicated to promoting the appropriate use of antimicrobial agents. The Society's diverse membership is comprised of pharmacists and other allied health care professionals who are concerned with widely varied aspects of antimicrobial use in settings which include clinical patient care, research, teaching, the pharmaceutical industry, and government.

Founded in 1990, the Society of Infectious Diseases Pharmacists (SIDP) is an association of pharmacists and allied healthcare professionals dedicated to promoting the appropriate use of antimicrobial agents. The membership of SIDP encompasses individuals engaged in patient care, research, teaching, pharmaceutical industry and government.

Mission:
ADVANCE infectious diseases pharmacy and LEAD antimicrobial stewardship in order to OPTIMIZE the care of patients.
