Second District Dental Society of New York (SDDSNY)

The Second District Dental Society (SDDS) represents the dentists from Kings County (Brooklyn) and Richmond County (Staten Island). We have approximately 1,500 members representing close to 70% of all active dentists in that area. The Society was formed in 1868 and has been an active and committed representative for the dentists of our area since that time. We are the local component of the New York State Dental Association and the American Dental Association. Our society is governed by a 25-member Board of Trustees. The Society also has representation to NYSDA (governors) and the ADA (delegates).
