The Oregon Geriatrics Society is a not-for-profit society and state affiliate of the American Geriatrics Society, that works to improve the health, independence, and quality of life of older adults. Our members include physicians, nurse practitioners, social workers, and other healthcare professionals in geriatrics. They provide leadership and education to healthcare professionals and policymakers, by implementing and advocating for programs in patient care, research, education, and public policy.
The Oregon Geriatrics Society (OGS) is a medical society that focuses on seniors, education for geriatric health care professionals, and long-term care. OGS is an official member of the Council of State Affiliates of the national organization, American Geriatrics Society.
