The Montana Dental Hygienists’ Association (MDHA) is the professional organization representing the interests of dental hygienists in their state. MDHA is one part of a tri-part structure, their national organization is the American Dental Hygienists’ Association (ADHA). The third part is the local groups or components in each state. In Montana they have seven components: Billings, Butte, Helena, Bozeman, Kalispell, Missoula, and Great Falls.
Mission:
The mission of the Montana Dental Hygienists’ Association is to advance the art and science of dental hygiene by improving the public’s total health through: ensuring access to quality oral health care, awareness of cost-effective benefits of prevention, promotion of the highest standards of dental hygiene education, licensure, practice and research; and to provide representation, promotion, and preservation of the interests of dental hygienists.
