The Federal Association of German Nutritionists (BDEM) is an association of nutritionists to protect, promote and represent professional and other issues.
A primary task of the federal association is to promote the professional training and further education of nutritionists and to advise and support the members in the fulfillment of their medical and scientific tasks and to take action themselves.
The Federal Congress, which has been taking place annually since the association was founded and which is being held for the first time in 2006 in Wolfsburg with the professional associations of dietitians and nutritionists, the magazine "Der Ernahrungmediziner" and advanced training courses for nutritionists, which are jointly organized with the German Academy for Nutritional Medicine (DAEM).
