Diet 2018 Nutrition is Therapy and Prevention is organized by German Society of Nutritional Medicine / Deutsche Gesellschaft fur Ernahrungsmedizin e.V. (DGEM), Working Community for Clinical Nutrition / Arbeitsgemeinschaft fur klinische Ernahrung (AKE), Society for Clinical Nutrition in Switzerland / Gesellschaft fur klinische Ernahrung der Schweiz (GESKES), Occupational Association Oecotrophologie eV / BerufsVerband Oecotrophologie e.V. (VDOE), Federal Association of German Nutritionists / Bundesverband Deutscher Ernahrungsmediziner e.V. (BDEM), German Dietitian Association / Verband der Diatassistenten - Deutscher Bundesverband e.V. (VDD), INTERPLAN Congress, Meeting & Event Management AG and will be held during Jun 21 - 23, 2018 at Congress Palace Kassel Stadthalle, Kassel, Hessen, Germany.
The target audience for this medical event for young physicians, ecotrophologists, nutritionists, dieticians, nurses and other responsible players in our health care system.
Nutrition 2018 - which we have traditionally organized for the 17th time as a three-day conference of the DGEM, AKE and GESKES together with the professional association Oecotrophologie eV (VDOE) and the German Association of German Nutritionists (BDEM).
In recent years, hardly a subset of medicine has undergone such complex changes in paradigms as nutritional medicine. According to our understanding, nutritional medical intervention is no longer a necessary part of basic care, but an integral and effective part of therapy and prevention. That is why this year's congress motto is "Nutrition is Therapy and Prevention" and we want to discuss these complex medical, economic, but also social and ethical aspects and perspectives in detail with you during the various congress meetings.
The congress organizers have deliberately tried to compile a wide-ranging, multi-faceted congress program that meets the complex, multiprofessional facets of nutrition / nutritional medicine, is also highly actual, and also consciously addresses economic, social, ethical and all-day practical aspects.
