After completing a short post-course survey, immediately print your transcript to document your anesthesia continuing education activity. DAO intends to make all of its presentations available to all users. Please note that course numbers have been assigned to each program to aid in course selection. 200 series programs are relevant for all practitioners. 300 series are most germane to anesthesia assistants. 400 level programs target light to moderate sedations, while the 500 series focuses on providers of deep sedation and/or general anesthesia. The specially designed Anesthesia Assistant Training Program consists of 14 hours of presentation and simulation training, which can be purchased only as a complete package. Various states are now mandating documentation of anesthesia assistant training. This course meets the requirements as sent forth in many states, including Illinois. Please check your individual state for course acceptability.
