Course Description:
Propofol has rapidly become a drug of choice for sedation and anesthesia in the dental office. This program will review the pharmacology of this agent as well as its use with an infusion pump.

Course Objectives:
• Discuss the pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics of propofol
• Demonstrate the correct use of an infusion pump
• Explain possible complications when using propofol infusions
