Danish Society for Oncological and Palliative Physiotherapy / Dansk Selskab for Onkologisk og Palliativ Fysioterapi (DOPF)

Purpose:
• to be a network of physiotherapists who in their daily work meet oncology and / or palliative patients
• to form an organizational framework for the specialist professional grouping with a view to strengthening the professional environment and safeguarding the professional interests of the members;
• to contribute to the realization of the vision of specialized and evidence-based oncological and palliative physiotherapy by promoting documentation and research in the field
• to be responsible for competence development and strengthening of the members' professional knowledge and expertise within oncological and palliative physiotherapy
• to contribute to working for specialist education within the specialties.
• to coordinate with other specialist professional companies and professional companies via the Danish Society for Physiotherapy, so that professional companies for physiotherapy pull in the same direction, share knowledge, utilize each other's resources and establish common functions where this is expedient.
• to represent the members where this is financially and professionally appropriate, as such interest representation is coordinated with the Danish Society for Physiotherapy.
