The Coalition for Physician Well-Being

The Coalition is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt association of some 50 healthcare systems, hospitals, and professional organizations, represented by over 245 individual members, which is organized for the purpose of learning together how to build robust, sustainable programs in support of physician well-being. They promote personal and professional fulfillment for physicians by building healthy families and productive collegial relationships, encouraging teamwork and collaboration in the clinical and administrative setting, thereby enhancing hospital culture and improving the safety, quality, and humanity of patient care. They also embrace physician wholeness, which they understand to encompass physical, mental, social, and spiritual health, which supports the embodiment of their work as a ministry of healing.
