Canadian Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (CAPD) / Academie Canadienne de Dentisterie Pediatrique (ACDP)

The Canadian Academy of Pediatric Dentistry /Académie Canadienne de Dentisterie Pédiatrique (CAPD/ACDP) is the membership organization representing over 300 pediatric dentists across Canada.

The members serve as primary and comprehensive oral health care providers for children from infancy through the teen-age years.

With specialized techniques of behaviour management and dental care we provide the diagnostic, preventive, therapeutic and consultative expertise required by children, including those with special health care needs.

Mission:
CAPD/ACDP is the recognized national voice of pediatric dentistry. CAPD/ACDP represents its specialist practitioners and advocates for and promotes optimal oral health for infants, children, adolescents and persons with special health care needs.

Vision:
CAPD/ACDP promotes and encourages excellence in pediatric dentistry and the achievement of optimal health for infants, children, adolescents and persons with special health care needs.
