American Interventional Headache Society (AIHS)

Bath, Ohio, United States of America

Who We Are:
The American Interventional Headache Society (AIHS) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) national professional organization working for the benefit of people suffering from intractable headache, neck, and face pain that is not responding to conventional treatment. There is a big gap in the education and training of both patients and health care providers about multimodal interventional treatment options for the treatment of medically resistant head, neck, and face pain. Patients and health care providers must be adequately trained and educated to identify and implement appropriate multimodal interventional treatment options for medically refractory or treatment resistant head, neck, and face pain.

Mission:
To promote and advance the science and practice of multimodal interventional treatment of intractable headache, neck, and orofacial pain.

Vision:
To be the leader in multimodal interventional headache treatments through innovations in patient care, education, and research.

Purpose:
To raise awareness, promote, and advance interventional headache, neck and orofacial pain science through research, education, and advanced patient care.
