Alfred Emergency Academic Centre (AEAC)

The Alfred Hospital is one of Australia's oldest and most renowned medical institutions with a history dating back to its founding in 1871. Built in honour of His Royal Highness, Prince Alfred, Duke of Edinburgh, it remains the longest operating Melbourne hospital at its original location.

The Alfred Hospital Emergency Department was opened on November 6, 1959.
