Surfactant administration is evolving to less invasive approaches, some of which have yet to be incorporated into daily practice in the United States. This presentation will review the practice and application of less-invasive surfactant administration (LISA).

- Describe the patient selection process and performance steps for applying less invasive surfactant administration.
- Discuss the relevant data from controlled trials of surfactant administration via aerosol.
