Voices from the Field: Aligning Expectations and Performance through Relationship Management

As companies and organizations continue to merge and partner up to manage a variety of research tasks, we often find ourselves pulled in multiple directions with contradicting instructions, or a lack of clear direction. This can cause reduced performance, high turnover and frustrations for all parties involved. While we continually focus on ensuring patient safety and the integrity of the data, we often do not take the time to analyze the cause of the problems and focus on completing the tasks at hand; this further leads to gaps in performance, miscommunication and distrust between organizations. This session will focus on addressing some of the challenges faced by Sponsor and CRO partnerships, impact on the sites, and how some of these challenges can be proactively managed. Open discussion will be encouraged based on a series of questions, and practical tools and tips will be shared to enhance communication and performance management.
