Update on Subarachnoid Hemorrhage is organized by Pri-Med and would be held during Dec 02, 2015 - Dec 02, 2018. The target audience for this medical event are basically for neurosurgeons. This CME conference has been approved with a maximum of 0.50 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.
In this activity the diagnosis and non surgical management of subarachnoid hemorrhage from the primary care perspective are reviewed. Critical care issues in the management of aneurysm, including risk for rebleeding, neurogenic pulmonary edema, vasospasm, and cerebral salt wasting are discussed.
Objectives :
• Review the diagnosis of aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhage.
• Provide an update on the ICU management of these patients.
• Recognize patients who may benefit from screening for unruptured aneurysms.
