Course Description:
Clinical neuropsychology, framed in the context of Western culture, needs to better address how we develop and share recommendations associated with our clinical reports. This video presentation will briefly review the important variables to take into consideration when developing and framing recommendations from a culturally informed perspective. Furthermore, using a case example, it will demonstrate the implementation of the important of these variables.
After attending this Online Course, attendees will be able to:
• Define and explore the concepts to one’s stimulus value in the clinical relationship.
• Explain the importance of cultural context as it pertains to recommendation development.
• Describe the important environmental factors to consider for recommendation development.
• Identify concrete strategies to increase equity and inclusion in clinical recommendations.
