This program will review the link between disease of the periodontium and systemic diseases, with a focus on disease classification, diagnostics, and treatment options based on comprehensive patient-centered care.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:• Discuss the AAP Periodontal Disease Classification and the roles of the oral healthcare team in identifying and correcting oral disease
• Review ways to optimize diagnosis and coding to best serve both the patient and the practice
• Discuss the latest clinical options for the treatment and prevention of disease
