Therapeutic activities and Fun games to play is organized by Appalachian Way Counseling, LLC. This course has been approved for a maximum of 14 Hours.

Overview:
This training is relevant to certification or recertification for educational requirements and professional growth issues, case management along with treatment planning.

Material provided by public domains, Debra Murphy series, along with a power point and Jacobs, E., & Schimmel, C. (2013). Impact Therapy: The Courage to Counsel. Star City, WV: Impact Therapy Associates.

In this training, the focus will be on creative techniques that can be used in sessions/groups to heighten awareness, enhance learning for visual learners, and speed up the counseling process all while having fun!

The clinician will hopefully be able to develop their tool bag of interventions learning new games or revisiting games they may already know and have not used in a while…come prepared to play and have fun while learning games for adults and adolescents that will surely bring quality and depth into your practice. When completed the counselor will be able to answer the question:Why should we use games, props and activities with clients?
