The Right Guide for Parenteral Nutrition for Adults and Children is organized by ContinuingEducation.com - OnCourse Learning Corporation and will be held during Nov 01, 2002 - Oct 07, 2019.
The target audience for this medical event is multiple professions, including nurses and pharmacists. This CME Conference has been approved for a maximum of 2.50 Contact Hours.
Cost cutting, changes in healthcare and component shortages affect nurses and pharmacists caring for patients receiving parenteral nutrition. Because many multidisciplinary nutrition support teams have been disbanded as a way to reduce costs, and the use of PN is limited to select groups of patients, the RN has had to become an expert in delivering PN. It is necessary to go beyond the five rights of medication administration to ensure evidence-based interventions and quality outcomes for both adult and pediatric patients receiving PN. This educational activity provides evidence-based guideline information on the safe and effective delivery of PN therapy.
