The Relationship Between Healthy Living and Relapse Prevention is organized by National Association for Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Counselors (NAADAC) and will be held on Dec 18, 2019.

Target Audience:
Addiction professionals, employee assistance professionals, social workers, mental health counselors, professional counselors, psychologists, and other helping professionals that are interested in learning about addiction-related matters.

NAADAC members receive a CE certificate for 1.5 CEs for free. Non-members of NAADAC can receive 1.5 CEs for $20 (make payment here). A CE certificate will be emailed to you within 21 days of submission and receiving payment, if applicable.

Description:
This webinar will demonstrate the importance of sleep, nutrition, hydration, and exercise for persons in recovery from a substance use disorder. Information will be provided on the connection between healthy living and hormone balance and how the lack of attention to principles of healthy living can increase the risk of relapse.

Learning Objectives:
• Identify basic principles of healthy living including: sleep, nutrition, hydration, and exercise.
• Learn strategies to share with clients on optimizing hormone balance.
• Gain an ability to relate the connection between healthy living, hormone balance and risks of relapse.
