What is the significance of The Canadian Pediatric Society guidelines for autism assessment: A practical guide for pediatricians?
Course Description:
Three distinct CPS position statements were formed to lead pediatricians and other providers in incorporating accurate, cost and resource-efficient, and child and family-centered assessment practices. These statements address key junctures in assessments: detection of developing signs of ASD, formal diagnostic evaluation, and post-diagnosis follow-up care converging on the role of the care provider. This CME webcast will support pediatricians in implementing these recommendations across diverse practice settings in Canada.
