Surgery for Stress Incontinence: What Workup and Which Sling? is organized by Med-IQ and would be held during Jun 30, 2017 - Jun 29, 2018.
The target audience for this medical event for Obstetrics and Gynecologists. This CME Conference has been approved with a maximum of 0.25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.
This course will serve as a review and update on Webcast, recorded live at the 2017 American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists Annual Clinical and Scientific Meeting, an expert faculty member presents evidence-based approaches for the evaluation and management of women with stress urinary incontinence. Office-based strategies to assess women for this condition and the criteria for multichannel urodynamic testing prior to surgery are also examined. Additionally, the relative efficacy and safety of the current surgical standards of care—the retropubic and transobturator midurethral slings—are compared.
Learning Objectives are :
Upon completion, participants should be able to:
• Describe office-based evaluation strategies for stress urinary incontinence
• Compare the safety and efficacy of the retropubic and transobturator slings
