This NCPD will give information to improve your daily practice and habits to protect your license.

As a result of participating in this educational activity, learners will be able to:

• Describe the school nurse’s role in an Individualized Education Plan (IEP).
• List at least two ways school nurses contribute to the health care of students with disabilities.
• Summarize the Individuals with Disabilities Education Improvement Act (IDEA).
