Overview: The palate is a frequent site for oral lesions of different origins. The aim of this article is to present a case of a 62-year-old woman who was seen with a mass of the hard palate and to discuss the differential diagnosis, diagnosis, and management of the case.

Educational Objectives:
Upon completion of this course, participants should be able to achieve the following:

  • Learn to develop an adequate differential diagnosis for masses of the hard palate
  • Understand the etiology, pathogenesis, and clinical manifestations of each disease included in the differential diagnosis
