Overview :
Clinical cancer staging is required for all cancer patients within Sharp HealthCare prior to first course of treatment. Currently, only 63% of 2019 audited cases show documentation of clinical cancer staging compliance. This e-module aims to address knowledge gaps associated with the newly designed physician verification form, in order to achieve 100% compliance.
Objectives :
Following this activity, participants should be able to:
• Identify when clinical cancer staging is required.
• Discuss the importance of proper clinical cancer staging documentation.
• Complete clinical cancer staging in the electronic physician verification form
Accreditation: Sharp HealthCare is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
