Sexually Transmitted Infections and HIV: An Update is organized by UK HealthCare CECentral and will be held during Jun 02, 2015 - Jun 02, 2018.

The target audience for this medical event is Primary care providers, nurses, social workers, and pharmacists.This CME Conference has been approved for a maximum of 0.75 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.

Recognition and treatment of common STIs can be challenging. Treatment and diagnostic algorithms can be complicated and onerous leading to delay in treatment and spread of infection. Sexually transmitted infections remain pervasive in HIV-infected populations. The appropriate diagnosis and treatment are essential to decreasing morbidity from these infections.

Conference Objectives :
Upon completion of this educational acitivity, participants will be able to:
• Review current screening guidelines for sexually transmitted infections in the HIV infected individual
• Discuss diagnostic algorithms for syphilis, gonorrhea, and chlamydia
• Report treatment guidelines for syphilis, gonorrhea, and chlamydia
