• Define craving, its difference from the physiologic control of hunger and its relationship to the reward system
• Discuss how to measure craving
• Describe the relationship of craving and the reward system to present obesity treatments (diet, drugs, surgery, and devices) and the importance of considering the reward system in future obesity interventions
