ABIM MOC:

This course features 4 sessions designed to update primary care clinicians on the latest science in women's health, presented in a practical and patient-focused manner relevant to the primary care setting. It reviews the clinical presentation, diagnostic tests, differential diagnosis, and management strategies related to women's health. Topics include: Perimenopause, Breast and Cervical Cancer Screening, The Well Woman Visit, and GYN Cancer Screening and Prevention.

• Session 1 (52 minutes) - Challenges of Caring for Women During the Later Reproduction Years (Perimenopause)
• Session 2 (61 minutes) - Breast and Cervical Cancer Screening - An Update
• Session 3 (56 minutes) - The Well Woman Visit – Do Asymptomatic Women Need Annual Gyn Exams?
• Session 4 (57 minutes) - GYN Cancer: Screening and Prevention

Primary Care On Demand: Women’s Health will educate and promote improved patient outcomes for a broad range of therapeutic areas commonly encountered in internal medicine and family medicine practice. This CME course will highlight the latest science related to women’s health, presented in a practical and patient-focused manner relevant to the primary care setting. It reviews the clinical presentation, diagnostic tests, differential diagnosis, and management strategies of commonly encountered issues in the female patient.

Presented by Continuing Education Company (CEC) for the past 26 years, our Primary Care CME Conference Series is designed to update primary care clinicians in rapidly changing therapeutic areas. This CME activity, Primary Care On Demand: Women’s Health is comprised of recorded video lectures taken from various live Primary Care conferences in 2018.
