Program Overview:
This course features 4 sessions designed to update primary care clinicians on dermatology related issues commonly encountered in internal medicine and family medicine practice. It reviews the clinical presentation, diagnostic tests, differential diagnosis, and management strategies of some of the most common dermatological issues. Topics include: Terminology of Skin Disorders, Use of Steroids, Skin Cancer Diagnosis and Treatment, Benign Skin Tumors, and Skin Cancer Essentials.

• Session 1 (49 minutes) - Terminology of Skin Disorders and the Use of Topical and Injectable Steroids
• Session 2 (69 minutes) - Advances in Skin Cancer Diagnosis and Treatment
• Session 3 (58 minutes) - Benign Skin Tumors
• Session 4 (64 minutes) - Skin Cancer Essentials: Recognition, Treatment, and Prevention

Primary Care On Demand: Dermatology will educate and promote improved patient outcomes for dermatology related issues commonly encountered in internal medicine and family medicine practice. This CME course will highlight the latest science related to dermatology, presented in a practical and patient-focused manner relevant to the primary care setting. It reviews the clinical presentation, diagnostic tests, differential diagnosis, and management strategies of commonly encountered dermatological issues.

Presented by Continuing Education Company (CEC) for the past 26 years, our Primary Care CME Conference Series is designed to update primary care clinicians in rapidly changing therapeutic areas. This CME activity, Primary Care On Demand: Dermatology is comprised of recorded video lectures taken from various live Primary Care conferences in 2018.
