Description:
This lecture will address Placenta Accreta Spectrum (PAS) which remains underdiagnosed with associated significant maternal morbidity and mortality.

ACCME Objectives:

  • Describe epidemiology and etiopathology of placenta accreta spectrum (PAS).
  • Identify risk factors for PAS.
  • Discuss the spectrum of disease and importance of antenatal diagnosis.
  • Identify ultrasound features of cesarean scar pregnancy (CSP) and PAS.
  • Describe antenatal and surgical management of PAS.
