Description:
This lecture will address Placenta Accreta Spectrum (PAS) which remains underdiagnosed with associated significant maternal morbidity and mortality.
ACCME Objectives:
- Describe epidemiology and etiopathology of placenta accreta spectrum (PAS).
- Identify risk factors for PAS.
- Discuss the spectrum of disease and importance of antenatal diagnosis.
- Identify ultrasound features of cesarean scar pregnancy (CSP) and PAS.
- Describe antenatal and surgical management of PAS.
