This conference will begin with an overview of in-hospital falls and benefits of peripheral nerve blocks followed by the debate of whether (or not) peripheral nerve blocks increase the risk of in-hospital falls in orthopaedic patients.

Conference Objectives are:
• Review current incidence of in-hospital falls
• Evaluate the evidence for peripheral nerve blocks and their impact on in-hospital falls
• Evaluate evidence to create ways to decrease in-hospital falls.
