Patient Centric Treatment of Diabetes : The Role of GLP-1 Receptor Agonist : 56 year old Woman with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus and Hypertension is organized by Pri-Med and would be held during Aug 12, 2015 - Aug 12, 2016. • Review the mechanism of action, safety, and efficacy profiles of GLP-1 inhibitors and incorporate these agents into a comprehensive treatment plan in patients with T2DM.
• Select and sequence therapies for patients with T2DM, based on each patient’s individual profile, intensifying treatment if glycemic goals are not met.
• Develop effective patient education and communication skills to enhance adherence and improve outcomes in patients with T2DM, and make appropriate referrals to other healthcare professionals when relevant.
