Description:
This course provides structured guidelines based on a decision-analytical approach that is designed to help radiologists decide when to recommend a biopsy or short-interval follow-up based on a patient-specific breast cancer risk. The course presents a decision process model that optimizes the post-mammography diagnostic decisions for an individual woman that maximizes her total expected quality-adjusted life-years.
