Target Audience:
This activity is directed toward medical oncologists and hematologists who treat patients with hematologic malignancies. Fellows, nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and other healthcare professionals interested in the management of patients with hematologic malignancies are also invited to participate.

Activity Overview:
In order to close the identified knowledge and practice gaps among oncologists and other healthcare professionals who treat and manage patients with hematologic malignancies, Physicians’ Education Resource®, LLC an Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME)–accredited provider, requests a grant to develop and execute Oncology Briefings™: Exploring the Role of PI3K Inhibitors for the Treatment of Hematologic Malignancies. The Oncology Briefings™ format is an online interactive monograph that will include an overview of diagnostic guidelines and management strategies for treatment-associated adverse events, and a review of recent data regarding current and novel therapeutic approaches in PI3K inhibitors for hematologic malignancies. National thought leaders will interpret presented data and provide key take-home points and clinical pearls for practice that will place the content into perspective. Sidebars and tables provide supporting evidence.
