OB/GYN Cases That Taught Me Something New This Year is organized by Southern Medical Association (SMA) and will be held from Sep 05, 2018 - Sep 05, 2019. This Conference has been approved for a maximum of 0.75 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™.

Target Audience :
This activity is intended for physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, and other allied healthcare professionals specializing or certified in the areas of women’s health, gynecology, obstetrics, internal medicine, family or general medicine, emergency medicine, and preventive medicine.

Goals and Objectives :
Each year a patient (or patients) will present to your office with a diagnosis that surprises you, escapes you, or forces you to research something about which you knew little. In this activity, cases on 3 – 4 such patients with problems which range from unusual headaches to unexpected allergic reactions to unanticipated ultrasound findings will be presented. Upon completion of the activity, providers should be able to:
• Recognize the nuances of interpretation of unusual patient symptoms;
• Recognize the need to employ a wide differential diagnosis in symptoms without an obvious answer, focusing on headaches, vaginal irritation and ultrasound interpretation.

Credits will be archived for 6 years.
