This session will explore the evolving landscape of secondary prevention in atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease (ASCVD), emphasizing the need to go beyond statin therapy to further reduce major adverse cardiovascular events (MACE). Participants will examine emerging evidence on nonstatin therapies, including recent data on the use of colchicine for ASCVD event reduction. The program will also guide clinicians in applying current professional guidelines and expert insights to personalize treatment strategies that target inflammatory pathways and improve patient outcomes.
