Goal:
To provide pharmacists practicing in managed care and specialty pharmacy settings with education focused on the medical applications of pharmacologic agents derived from cannabidiol with a focus on the treatment of seizure disorders, thus improving outcomes.

Educational Objectives:
Upon completion of this program, participants should be better able to:
• Explain the pharmacologic mechanisms of Cannabis-derived substances including cannabidiol oral solution
• Apply updated recommendations for the CBD oral solution approved by the United States Food and Drug Administration and understand its place in therapy and necessary patient/family education
• Identify current legal, regulatory, distribution, and administration issues relevant to cannabidiol oral solution in seizure disorders and treatment of other medical conditions
• Differentiate among Cannabis substances including cannabinoids, cannabidiol oral solution, CBD, oils, and street or home-grown plant-based substances
