Course Description:
This program will focus on the role of periodontal disease in systemic inflammatory disease, as well as solutions for treating systemic disorders through the remediation of periodontal disease.

Learning Objectives:
• Review the etiology and presentation of periodontal disease
• Discuss the relationship between periodontal disease and systemic disease
• Describe surgical solutions aimed at improving systemic health by treating periodontal disease
