Overview :
The goal of this webinar is to assist in providing helpers with a structure for how to show empathy and compassion to those who suffer greatly, particularly those who are having suicidal ideation. The research shows that this evidenced based practice (Motivational Interviewing) has the potential to improve interactions among staff and the people served, improve client outcomes and reduce stress and burnout among staff.
Learning Objectives:
After participating in this activity, the learner should be better able to implement a structure for how to show empathy and compassion to those who suffer greatly, particularly those who are having suicidal ideation.
