Military Advances in Combat Trauma Care After a Decade of War and Translating Them to Civilian Practice is organized by UK HealthCare CECentral and will be held during Jul 24, 2014 - Jul 23, 2020.
The target audience for this medical event is All physicians, nurses, and other medical staff personnel who provide care to severely injured trauma patients. This CME Conference has been approved for a maximum of 1.00 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.
Conference Objectives :
Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to:
• Describe at least 3 techniques being employed for hemorrhage control in the prehospital battlefield environment.
• Identify 4 potential advantages of damage control (or “1 to 1”) resuscitation over standard resuscitation.
• Discuss the 3 anatomic areas of injury that comprise the “Dismounted Complex Blast Injury”.
• Describe the optimal dose and timing strategy when using tranexamic acid (TXA) for severely injured patients.
